Partnership Rewards
There are several benefits to partnership. You become part of the Discover Team! We will pray for one another. There is an anointing on partners that is beyond what the casual observer enjoys. "You are all partners of my grace," Paul said to his supporters in Philippi (Phil 1:7). And you will be the first to know about new events and enjoy special discounts on featured resources.
This was the Apostle Paul's definition of partnership: "…On the day when the Lord Jesus returns, you will be proud of us in the same way we are proud of you." - 2 Corinthians 1:14 [NLT]
I believe Paul was proud of the Corinthians (even though they were far from a perfect group of people - just like us!), because they were seeking to use their spiritual and financial gifts for God. The Corinthians could also feel proud of Paul, because he was obeying the Lord, spreading a Christian movement on the earth, and they had a part in his anointed ministry. In the same way, I pray we will feel about each other when the Lord comes!
